Sara Carbonero facts part 2

  • Carbonero earned her journalist’s notebook during the Confederations Cup, when she managed to wrangle high-profile transfer market player David Villa for an exclusive interview. She was the only journalist to accomplish this feat. 
  • Sara worked on various shows at La Sexta, including the music program SuperMarca and the sports news program called “The Chain”. She’s also worked on La Sexta’s coverage of the 2007 European basketball championships, following Spain’s teams around. 
  • Carbonero has won several awards for her work in sports reporting over the years, and she did manage to land an exclusive interview with a highly sought after player. 

P.S. I got this from bleacher report so I feel like they may have gotten some of these things wrong. AKA like her birthday but everyone did for awhile. LOL.  But for the most part these facts seem just about right.
